Care

At Coloma Court Care Home, we have more than 15 years of experience providing expert nursing, respite and dementia care.

Quality of care

At Coloma Court Care Home, our caring team includes Registered Nurses and trained Care Assistants, all supported by a wonderful group of ancillary staff.

We believe in the importance of ongoing training in our teams, ensuring that you receive the highest quality of care. We have a lot of experience in providing person-centred care, and just like every resident here, your care will be tailored to your unique needs. Together with you, a family member, power of attorney, or advocate, we will create a personalised care plan that reflects what matters most to you. This care plan is flexible and can change as your needs and preferences evolve. It considers all aspects of your well-being, including physical, emotional, clinical, and spiritual needs, and helps us support you in living your life to the fullest.

Coloma Court Care Home is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, and we are dedicated to offering a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led service.

We also have qualified Registered General Nurses, who continuously review our quality of care.

Spiritual Life

To some of our residents, religion plays an important role in their lives. Coloma Court welcomes people of all faiths, as well as people who do not consider themselves to be religious.

If religion is important to you, we will make strong provision to ensure that your chosen practices can be followed.

As a charity, Healthcare Management Trust (HMT) has its origins in religious orders and we maintain a close connection at Coloma Court to The Daughters of Mary and Joseph.

Coloma Court has a Chapel dedicated to religious worship and services. The Chapel hosts Mass which you can attend everyday with the exception of Saturdays, this is offered by a visiting priest.

Alternatively, you can participate in Mass on a daily basis from your room as Coloma Court has direct video links to the Chapel. The Daughters of Mary and Joseph provide pastoral services within the home. Our home also has strong links with denominations of all religious faiths within the local area. We can arrange for you to receive visits from religious leaders.
